The Hoyt's are Home!

Oh my goodness!!!  We were actually home for a weekend.  We have had so much fun traveling, tailgating, and partying over the past few weeks, but honestly, I was a little burnt out.  Having a weekend at home has been heavenly!

We  had a yummy date night at The Cajun Experience on Friday night.  Saturday brought a golf lesson for me in the morning, followed by some VT football in the afternoon, and our neighbors' house warming party later in the evening.  We were a little embarrassed to be meeting our "new" neighbors because they have been in their house for over two months...oops.  Neighbors of the year, right here!

Blair played golf this morning and I headed to church and lunch with my folks.  It was really nice quality time with them.  The church opened with a welcome hymn from the little kids in the congregation.  Seeing those sweet little monkeys sing at the top of their little lungs absolutely melted my heart.  (Dear maternal clock, please unplug yourself.  I have more cool stuff to do. Thanks!) After church, Mom and I hit up the mall where she totally spoiled me with some new boots and dress :)  My parents really are so overwhelmingly generous.  I can only hope I can one day return all they do for us.  Finally, Blair and I rounded out the day with a delicious steak dinner....and we had dessert while I read Self magazine.  What?  That's not weird, right?....

A weekend at home has been blissful and I feel very rejuvenated, which is a good thing, because next weekend is Allison's wedding!!!

Happy birthday to our two favorite princesses, sweet little Alexa and Kevin Gallagher :)
