One Very Long Week

It's not often that I spend a Sunday evening thanking the Lord above that we are about to start a new week.  The past week has been one of "those" weeks.  The kind of week where you walk around saying "Seriously?!?"

Last Sunday was  Daylight Savings time a.k.a. "No More Baby Sleeping Time."  It was also the eve of the first day of daycare.

Monday was the big day- the first day of daycare.  I got up at 4:30 to study (did I mention that I threw studying for the CPA into the craziness?), started getting ready at 6:30am, had to wake the confused babies at 7:30 am, spent 30 minutes unloading the babies at daycare and an additional 5 minutes sobbing in the parking lot.  I drove 10 minutes towards work and realized I left our gigantic double stroller in the daycare.  Don't ask me how I didn't see the thing.  Turned around and made it to work 20 minutes late.  I got up at 4:30 to get to work by 9:30 and still didn't get there on time.

On Tuesday the class was unusually calm and our girls went easily into their second day.  It should have been a sign. I got the girls home and started the evening circus when Baby Vomit Fest 2013 commenced.

Wednesday night brought the stomach flu for me.

Thursday morning brought the stomach flu for Blair.

Friday brought the stomach flu for my mom and Blair's dad and the return to daycare for the girls.

Saturday brought a cold for Reese.

It's Sunday now, and the start of a new week.  It's also time for a drink.

5 Months

5 months old already!  It's hard to believe.  Our sweet girls  are so full of giggles and smiles and we fall more in love every day.  It will break our hearts to take them to daycare tomorrow.  They suddenly seem so very grown up.
